Welcome to clicker training! I hope you have already downloaded the app, but if you haven’t, here is a little bit about it!

Above are some pictures of the clicker training app. Click each image to enlarge. Clicker Training is a fun to use, good looking app that uses one of the best pet training techniques in existence. Here is some more information about the app:

Do you have a hard time making your pet listen to you?

Does your dog constantly bark or jump on guest?

With the Clicker Training app, you can make the best of your pet! Not only does the app feature a clicker, it also includes what to do with it! With the training tips section, you will be training your pet in no time.

Clicker training is completely safe and guaranteed to work with the right technique. Professional trainers have been using clickers for years to train ANY type of animal.

Clickers were first used for training dolphins, but now, it is mainly used for dogs and cats. But many kinds of pets can be trained using the clicker. Pets like: dogs, cats, horses, birds, big cats, rabbits, ferrets, fish, and more!

Here’s how clicker training works – If the pet does something good, you click and give them a treat. As they begin to get the hang of it, they will only do the actions you ask them. Your pet will hear the click, and know that they were good and get a treat. This will make them repeat the good behavior anytime. This is truly a wonderful way to train your pet!

The more you train with the clicker, the more your pet will respond. Instead of taking an actual clicker everywhere you go, just take the Clicker Training app!

  1. Great idea for an app! As a trainer who specializes in clicker training, I can definitely appreciate having a ‘clicker’ on my at all times. Unfortunately, I don’t have an iPhone, I have a Palm Pre.

Here’s hoping you release a version for the Pre (and other platforms) as well!

I know it sounds simple, but make sure the sound is on by switching the button on the left side of the phone up. Also, click the volume button up multiple times to make sure the volume is up. If those are on and turned up, you should hear it. If not, Restart the phone. If THAT doesn’t work, sync the phone with your computer and restart after the sync is complete. Please feel free to let me know if you are still having trouble. Thanks for asking for help! Hope it works out ok! -Kyle Davis

I would love to see this app with a click counter and an automatic/re-settable timer! This would make collecting data about training sessions so much easier!!!

I’m actually looking into this. A new feature might be a individual clicker count and training sessions. I might also add a world wide clicker counter that totals all the clicks. Look for this as a possibility in the next update! Thanks for the comment!

Glad you like it! Hope the newer version helps. Just keep working on clicker training with the puppy. It does take more patients with a puppy, but they are like children. Children learn sooooo much VERY quickly. They are like a sponge. So, the more they learn right and wrong now will help later. Make sure you click and treat them for ANY good behavior. If it bites at your hand for the treat, say “No”, and have it do something right, like sit, and then click and treat. If the puppy knows that the biting was wrong and the sitting was right, it will start to sit more than bite. Good luck and thanks for the comment. I will look into adding a section for puppy training.
